Specifications for installation of Barleystone 60mm Concrete Block Paving

 

  • Excavate and remove all waste materials from site
  • Lay geo-textile membrane to prevent fine particle migration
  • Lay up to 150mm of Type 1 aggregate sub-base and compact
  • Set outer edges of driveway in concrete, first not last
  • Lay 50mm coarse bedding sand and compact
  • Lay Barleystone 60mm Concrete Block Paving
  • Brush kiln dried sand over surface and compact
